artist comments: I enjoy painting in plein air, but when I can't be on site I paint in my studio from sketches and photos. My mediums are oil or watercolor outdoors but I use acrylics instead of the oils inside. Landscapes are my latest interest as I enjoy capturing the effects of light at a particular time of day and season.
