Annual event featuring Auburn's prominent residents. This years festival will feature Theodore W. Case. Throughout the entire day, Founders Day festivities will include opportunities to shop for fine art and crafts from regional artists and artisans, sample a variety of food offerings, and participate in a variety of aditional entertainment. Opportunity to interact with "celebrities" throughout Downtown Auburn, purchase a caricature drawing, and visit with a local author. Fun for the kids too, including games, balloon art, magic, and characters from some of their favorite movies!

vendor information: SHOW RULES Show Rules. Work exhibited at Auburn’s Founder’s Day must be tasteful and in keeping with a family-oriented atmosphere. Should violations be repeated, the artist will be asked to remove his or her exhibit(s) from the show. Commitment to Show. A signed application is a commitment to show. No refunds for cancellation will be made less than 15 days prior to the show. Agents. Dealers or agents may not stand in proxy for artists they represent. Sales Tax. All exhibitors must have a current. New York State sales tax number and must display their sales tax certificate during the show. Sales tax in our city is 8 percent Interpretation of the Rules. The City of Auburn and the Founder’s Day Committee reserve the right to make final interpretations of the rules. Acceptance Notification. Notification of acceptance will be mailed by June 1, 2010. Checks will be returned to applicants who are not accepted. Waitlist Procedures. In the event that there are more qualified artists than spots in a particular category, acceptance will be based on date of application. A Waiting List of qualified candidates will be maintained and artists will be notified should a space become available. DISPLAY REQUIREMENTS Booth Spaces. Booth spaces are approximately 12-feet wide by 12-feet deep. Booth spaces are available to individual artists, team artists, and guilds. All exhibitors are expected to bring their own display units, materials, tables, chairs, tents, panels, covers, etc. Exhibitors are responsible for keeping booth(s) clean and orderly during and after the show. Display. A minimum of 12 pieces must be displayed per booth. A portfolio of matted or framed works may be kept in a viewing bin, but must remain within the confines of the booth(s). Artists may display work, including materials in the viewing bin, only in the categories in which their work has been juried and accepted. All work exhibited must be comparable to work submitted with the application. All work must be totally attributable to the displaying artist(s).
